Balloon to Space

Well, not technically, but it still looked cool. The balloon took a payload – a 3D printed model of my high school alma mater’s famous tower – and rose roughly 100,000 ft above the city of Phoenix, Arizona. The trip took about 3 hours, and we recovered the payload several days later, as it landed in a remote part of Arizona which was a bit tricky to access. The payload also had a GoPro attached so we had video of nearly the entire trip up. Below is a condensed video of the project.
